Guest Artist: Eleanor Burns
In 1978 Eleanor Burns introduced her first book, “Make a Quilt in a Day- Log Cabin Pattern” beginning a quilt making revolution. A diverse combination of cutting and sewing applications, Eleanor’s method replaced scissors and templates with rips and strips. She also introduced an incredibly rapid stitching system, applying assembly line sewing to piecework.
