About Mary Tabar
Mary has had a needle or pencil in her hand for as long as she can remember. Growing up in the Midwest installed hard working values. She graduated from Truman University in Kirksville Missouri with a BS in Industrial Technology and a minor in Graphic Arts. While living in San Diego CA, she went back to San Marcos CA State College and received a teaching credential. She taught for Palomar College and San Diego Community College, quilting and stitchery classes. She now teaches and lectures for quilt guilds here in California. She has a home business of dyeing fabric, designing and making a line of patterns for machine applique called Snip & Flip.
